Race against Grace? You can’t win! – 1 Corinthians 15:10We all have been silly enough to think we can outrun our shadow, as a little girl I sure did try, how was I not beating this thing? It’s like I was running against my self lolllzz

In track games you have people just blessed with the body specimen and the will such that, when they line up, you almost can tell that it’s game over. It’s just there

That’s how grace is, cannot be earned, it offers spiritual blessings through mercy and love given by Jesus Christ. And you know what, unlike that specially gifted ability to run, grace is for all.

We are saved by faith through grace!
But sometimes we forget, we try to go through it in the power of our strength. Now don’t get me wrong here, as human beings wisdom and physical might is necessary, but even that in itself is a gift from God.

The strength of every man is the Lord’s right? But the grace of God must be our forelimb and hindlimb, we must rest on it often, our abilities must be secondary to it. I didn’t say absent, I mean secondary.

I plan well, I’m hardworking, but it’s God’s grace that gives meaning to my efforts.

Look here: 1 Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.
